Lynne Hollingsworth is an award winning artist and designer. She is one of the UK's leading female mural artists and coordinates projects across the UK. Lynne also creates paintings, mostly works on canvas which she exhibits widely. Lynne graduated in Fine Art from the prestigious Falmouth School of Art in Cornwall in 1993 and then gained a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from Canterbury Christchurch College in 1997.
Lynne has worked as an Art Gallery Exhibitions Officer and also within the education system as a Head of Art and Design, a Head of Graphics and a co-ordinator for Advanced Art and Design Studies. After teaching and lecturing extensively in Art and Design, Lynne set up Hollingsworth Designs Ltd in 2002.
As a renowned mural artist, Lynne coordinates small and large-scale arts projects across the UK, working with a diverse range of participants in a variety of education and community-based settings. She has worked on many large-scale public arts projects with a range of high-profile clients including Westfield, Balfour Beatty and the National Trust.
Lynne actively supports the Creative Industries and is a creative consultant and a well-respected creative industries business advisor and mentor.
Lynne was invited to exhibit her artwork personally for HRH Prince of Wales in December 2003 and was one of the guest speakers for Architecture Week 2007.
Lynne continues to exhibit her work regularly in galleries and events throughout the UK.
